Lakeshore path
The lakeside path takes you from Buchau to Achenkirch or via Seespitz to Pertisau. Right along the lake you will enjoy a pleasant breeze and a magnificent view of the water. Perfect for jogging and walking and also good for buggies and strollers.
Weissenbachalm (1.607 m)
From Maurach, after the last houses of the Lärchenwiese, you hike along a forest path through the Weißenbachtal to the Weissenbachalm.
Walking time: 1 ½ hours
Difficulty: easy
Pletzachalm (1,040 m) | Gernalm (1,166 m)
This hike starts in Pertisau, where cars can park for a fee at the large toll road parking lot. From here a wide, car-free path leads to the Pletzachalm and then on to the Gernalm.
Walking time: 40 minutes or 1 hour
Difficulty: easy, also accessible with buggy
Buchau - Dalfazalm (1,776 m)
Directly behind the family resort you hike uphill on a forest path through the high forest until you reach the fork of the waterfall path. Here you continue to the left to the Dalfaz waterfall. Afterwards the path leads in serpentines to the Dalfazer Alm.

Maurach - Buchauer Alm (1,390 m)
From the valley station of the Rofan cable car you walk past the Naturhotel Alpenblick to a wooden bridge. After crossing the stream, a wide serpentine path leads you up the forest slope to the Buchauer Alm.

Comfortably uphill with the cable cars
From the hotel to the mountain world
Rofan cable car
The Rofan cable car takes you quickly uphill from Maurach to an altitude of 1,840 m within a few minutes. The mountain station is your ideal starting point for wonderful hikes and walks for the whole family with over 150 km of well-maintained and marked trails. As a special highlight, the Skyglider Airrofan invites you to an adrenaline kick. Glide majestically through the air like an eagle.

Operating hours: The railroad operates daily at quarter-hourly intervals from 08:30 to 17:00 or 08:00 to 17:30 (in high season).
Karwendel mountain railroad
Climb aboard the Karwendel mountain railroad and within a few minutes you will be directly in the panoramic hiking area high above Pertisau, which invites you to go hiking, mountaineering, paragliding and relaxing.

Operating hours: daily from 08:30 to 17:00
